Sculptware supplied the TuxTails chair covers and decorative bands for the Opening and Closing Sessions.

Virgil Gribbin spoke with Anthony Bollotta about his concerns before they shipped full Sculptware chair covers. He said, "Check with the San Diego Convention Center to confirm if the Fire Department required the chairs to be linked together."

If the chairs have to remain linked to each other, then full chair covers could not be used.

However, TuxTails could be used if the chairs had to remain linked, because TuxTails do not cover the sides of the chair.

The Fire Department does require at this convention center that the chairs remained linked, as is the case with many convention centers.
